Well-Groomed Groom: The Tux is in The Details

The details are not the details. They make the design. Charles Eames

Today, Jenny & Oscar, a New Orleans couple, brought us to a destination beach wedding at Sanibel Island Florida to say "I do." Their wedding was intimate, with only family and a few friends but still formal with black tie tuxedos on the guys. He wore a classic straightforward tux with handsomely visible attention to details.

Here are the highlights:

  • Tux: Perlis, New Orleans (Perlis.com)
  • Cufflink: David Yurman - Streamline Cuff Links with Black Mother-of-Pearl (similar at Bloomingdale's)
  • Bowtie: Carrot & Gibbs – Black Satin Silk Formal Bowtie (similar at Nordstrom )
  • Shoes: Mezlan – Concerto – Cap Toe Oxford with Patent Leather and Calfskin Combo (Zappos)
  • Watch: Rolex “The Oyster Perpetual” – Submariner - 40mm, Steel and Yellow Gold, Blue face and Dial (similar at The Real Real)
