The groom and his crew in this wedding went for a straightforward all black tux. Channeling their inner Bond with classically-styled black suits and shiny black shoes with a modern color twist: champagne gold tie for the groom and purple ties for the groomsmen – all aligned with the details on the wedding.
The Well-Groomed team was able to get a quick Q & A with the groom, an engineering project manager in Silicon Valley – and we’re quite amused with his honest approach =)
Q: Most guys are all about simplicity and comfort. What were your considerations when styling your look comes wedding day?
A: I wanted a tux and all black for the guys. A good fitted suit.
Q: We noticed the yellow band on your arm. Is there a story behind this?
A Even James Bond had something gold
Q: Your bride, Jamie Mays, is a superbly stylish and talented make up artist, who has worked with numerous wedding and events. What was wedding planning with her like?
A: Like the military… You’re told what to do – now fall in line 😉
Q: Any tips / experience to share on grooming (hair / facial) for the big day?
A: If you don’t grow hair like me it’s easier
Q: Most memorable thing when planning the wedding?
A: writing those big checks… ouch!
