The Confetti Pop crew, by which I mean my wife and our friend Maddy, invited me to style the groom in one of their photo shoots. The theme was geometric, so that meant lots of faceted, gem-like details. In styling the groom, who really is a newlywed and posed with his real-life wife, I wanted him to look relaxed, but pulled together. So, my first thought was button-down shirt, but to make it less stiff, I chose chambray. Plum, straight-legged pants added some color to the white bow tie and chukka boots. I also DIY’d these lapel pins. 100 Layer Cake is also featuring our shoot, so swing by to check out the other vendor’s contributions. See something you want to DIY for your wedding? Confetti Pop has all the tutorials and how-tos.
Hopefully, you found some great inspiration for your engagement or relaxed wedding look.
